Was exploring Taman Sutera Utama area yesterday and found a good place to eat porridge steamboat, called “Farmland Porridge Steamboat Restaurant”. Porridge steamboat with a difference – this is how they characterize themselves. I don’t like porridge that much, but porridge and seafood is a perfect combination, definitely worth to try!
In Russia, my home country, we usually cook porridge with milk. So I was wondering, do they cook milk porridge and mix it with seafood in the Farmland restaurant? Luckily porridge in the Farmland was not a milky one As a steamboat base they offered a choice of rice porridge, pumpkin porridge, original soup or tomyam soup. We had chosen rice porridge:
It might be really difficult to choose main ingredients for a steamboat, because the restaurant offers more than 100 ingredients including seafood, fish, dumplings, beef, lamb, pork slices, pork liver/kidney, mushrooms and veggies.
They also offer set meals for lazy customers. We chose a set meal with fish, shrims and dumplings, and added a portion of pork liver:
10 minutes of cooking on a gas stove and the meal was ready:
Maybe it looks not so beautiful, but it was really yummy:
I liked all the ingredients, but especially thick fish noodles, it had an elastic and fluffy texture and a strong taste of fish:
If you happen to be in Sutera Mall area, do remember to drop by this place and try their porridge steamboat.
For yesterday’s dinner we paid 48 RM for 2 adults. See photos of menu below.
