I’ve never tried seafood porridge until recently – thanks to my Malaysian friend who introduced this dish to me It reminds me of the Russian fish soup, but even more delicious. Both times I tried it in Sutera One Restaurant which is at Gelang Patah. I really liked the way how they cooked seafood porridge and other dishes, so I want to share some photos with you.
Seafood porridge is an easy and light tasting meal that is extremely nutritious:
In the Sutera One Restaurant they use only freshest and finest ingredients to cook seafood porridge: clams, prawns, squids, fish, rice and vegetables.
Besides of the porridge we ordered few more dishes, all of them were very yummy and well-cooked.
Fish Head fried with chili and garlic:
One of the signature dishes of Sutera One is Cheese Prawns:
These prawns literally melted in my mouth… om nom nom…
We also ordered Lao Shu Fen fried noodles. English name of this dish is Rat (or Mouse) noodles. This dish is named as such because the shape of the noodles is long and tapered much like a rat’s tail. It’s simple, but very tasty dish:
Prices here are reasonable: the total cost of our dinner was about RM 60 for 3 adults. See some photos of menu below.

There is the only one thing that I didn’t like about the Sutera One – there were a lot of mosquitoes. So next time I’ll bring mosquito spray or sit inside.
